Ann Cusack

Ann Cusack is an actress who has appeared in over 25 major feature films, including Clint Eastwoods’s Sully with Tom Hanks, and The Informant with Matt Damon. Among her most memorable roles was Shirley Baker in A League of Their Own with Geena Davis. She is one of the three Cusack acting siblings, along with her brother John Cusack (Say Anything) and Joan Cusack (Working Girl), and has appeared with John and Joan in America’s Sweethearts and Grosse Pointe Blank, and Clint Eastwood’s Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. She has also appeared on many network TV shows, including Better Call Saul, Grey’s Anatomy and Ally McBeal. Ann is also an accomplished singer, and has performed to packed houses at top venues in New York and Los Angeles.

Ann Cusack on Gen Jones:
Born in 1961, Ann so strongly identities as part of Gen Jones between Boomers and Xers that she decided to call her band Ann Cusack & The Generation Jones Band. The band debuted in 2023 to rave reviews.

Paul Buckberry

Paul Buckberry is a legendary Australian street musician who has long been influential in Australian grass roots culture & trends. He writes and performs mostly blues, country and folk songs. He has also performed througout Europe and North America.

Paul Buckberry on Gen Jones :
Paul passionately identifies as a member of Generation Jones, and resents the fact that for many years he was mistakenly referred to as a Baby Boomer. In February 2021, Paul released a song with video called “Generation Jones (as far as I’m concerned)” which speaks to his discomfort at being lumped in with Boomers. As Paul has said: “When the term “OK Boomer” is leveled at me I feel more confused than insulted. The song “Generation Jones (as far as I’m concerned)” is in part my rebuttal to being cast into a particular demographic that I refuse and have never felt in the least connected to.”

Dara Tucker

Dara Tucker is a popular singer and songwriter. She has released six acclaimed studio albums, as well as a live album Dara Tucker Live. She co-wrote the the title track to Oklahoma, the 2020 Grammy-winning “Best Americana Album.” She has won numerous other awards. For example, at the 2017 Nashville Industry Music Awards, she was named “Jazz Vocalist of the Year” and her single “Radio” was named “Song of the Year”. She has perfomed at major venues across the U.S. and internationally. She has appeared on TV numerous times as a performer, like on HBO, Showtime, and on NPR’s Jazz Night in America.  She has also appeared as a guest on national TV talk shows, like on the Tavis Smiley Show.

Dara Tucker on Gen Jones:
In April 2022, Dara released a video on TikTok about Generation Jones, describing its history, collective personality traits, and its big influence on younger generations. The video was a sensation and went viral. Out of the hundreds of TikTok videos Dara created in 2022, her Gen Jones video was in her annual Top Ten in popularity. As Dara put it: “Counting down my top 10 videos for the year. Coming in at number nine, Generation Jones. This one really seemed to resonate with a lot of folks.” Over 140,000 people “liked” it, over 3500 people posted comments about it, and over 7500 people shared it with others. Dara has written about Gen Jones since, like here in January 2024: “… Boomer and Gen Jones viewers wanted their Black servants to have… kick. They wanted these films and TV shows to show these Black domestic workers pushing back. Show them standing up for themselves…”
