Joanne B. Freeman on Gen Jones:
In a 2022 social media discussion, Dr. Freeman made clear that even though she was born during the traditional time period for Boomers, she doesn’t feel like a Boomer, and feels closer to GenX. When someone brought up Generation Jones, she immediately realized she’d found her generational home, excitedly tweeting to her over 100,000 Twitter followers in July 2022: “I…have never heard of Generation Jones. Wow!” She’s proudly brought up Gen Jones publicly since then.
